An independent or whole of market mortgage broker will work for you, their client.

Mortgage brokers are qualified and experienced in arranging all types of mortgages. But even though they may recommend you take a mortgage out with Halifax, Nationwide or Paragon they do not work on behalf of these lenders.

A mortgage advisor works independently of all lenders. Perhaps a more descriptive name for a broker is mortgage intermediary, as they sit between you and the lender.

Your broker is on your side and will always want to help you achieve your property goals.
